Saying Goodbye

Yesterday, we said goodbye to the beach. We had a great time playing in the sand, swimming in the ocean, and most of all being with family. The wedding was beautiful and we were glad to be able to be there to celebrate with them. Now back to reality.

Mark and Kristen's Wedding

Mark (Mike's brother) and Kristen got married on the beach at 2pm on Saturday, April 25th, 2009. It was a very beautiful ceremony. It was given in Spanish with an interpreter. What a fabulous backdrop to wonderful memories!

Lov'in Mexico

While we were in Playa, we stayed at the Rui Yucatan all inclusive resort. It was very nice. We just hung out at the beach and enjoyed ourselves. It was very HOT and HUMID!!! Here are some beach pictures!

Drew's 4 yr well check

Today Drew had his 4 year old well check. He did a great job. I didn't think he was going to get any shots, but I was wrong. Drew did a great job with the 4 shots; he didn't even cry!

Drew is 42 inches tall (93% for his age) and weighed 33 lbs (25%); so he's tall and skinny. He was really shy when the doctor was asking him to count, sing ABCs, hop on one foot, or whatever else he asked him to do. Overall, Drew's a happy, healthy 4 year old. Mike and I are truly blessed.

Getting his golf game ready!

Modeling his new tool apron ~ Grandpa Paul would have been proud!

Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday the kids and I went to and Easter Egg Hunt with the moms group. It was a B-E-A-utiful day! We all had a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from the hunt.

Drew's Bday Party

On Saturday, we celebrate Drew's 4th birthday at the Kangaroo Zoo in N. Salt Lake. Eight of his friends were able to join in the celebration. There were 10 or more inflatable jumping animals the kids crawled, jumped, hit, slid, bounced, climbed, and what ever else they wanted to on the inflatables. Needless to say, a GREAT time was had by all.

The Bug Box

After the playing was over, the celebration moved into the Bug Box where we ate pizza, and opened presents. Drew opened awesome presents from his friends. He got a Cars game pack, a Speed Racer car, Spiderman t-shirt, Horton hears who game, tools, Spiderman memory game, 2 different Play Doh kits, coloring things, and great memories. Thank you to all who came and made Drew's party so special!

Cake and Bubbles

After the yummy pizza, we sang Happy Birthday to Drew. He acted scared or something - Look at his face in the pictures. Then when he blew out the candles, he acted like it was a lot of work - really silly, but funny! The cake was Batman, and it was a pull-apart cupcake cake. It was delicious! When everyone was finished and had blue lips and tongue, bubbles started coming from the ceiling. The kids loved trying to pop and catch them. It was a very fun ending to a very fun day! Happy 4th Birthday Drew!!!

Happy 4th Birthday Drew!

The night Drew was born. Sometimes seems like yesterday and forever ago at the same time.

A welcome to the world message in our hospital room.

I LOVE this picture. Proud papa!

Everyone came to meet Drew and sing Happy Birthday to him. So special.

Drew's 1st birthday. He hated the feeling of the frosting on his fingers. Needless to say, we didn't get any "messy" pictures.

Drew's 2nd birthday pictures. I LOVE this picture; he looks so grown up in this pose.

Drew got a new bike for his 3rd birthday. Trying it out in the living room.

Looking back over the last 4 years of Drew's life have really made me thankful for each and every moment and memory we've made together. I am so proud of him. He's growing up to be such a little boy. Mike and I love him very much. We are truly blessed.

Today Drew celebrated his 4th birthday with his classmates at school. He got to wear a birthday crown and be the helper for the day. When Mike got home after work, we ate Drew's favorite food, pizza, then opened presents. The best part was, playing with all the new stuff. We bowled, roller bladed, scootered, played with play-doh, played games, shaved, and had a great time.

Drew is celebrating his birthday with friends on Saturday at the Kangaroo Zoo. He is SO excited. I will post pictures from his party for all of you to enjoy. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Drew is very lucky to have you in his life.

Below are pictures from tonight. Kyra, Mike, and I had a wonderful time sharing Drew's 4th birthday with him.
