Swim'in at the Aquatic Center

This morning, the kids and I went swimming with the moms group. We all had a fun time! Here's a picture of the play area.

Kyra and Drew ready for the water. Lets go mom!

Drew our little fishy.

Drew LOVED the slide. I bet he went down it at least 25 times. All by himself each time. Way to go big guy!

Try'in to warm up! Cuddle a little closer you two! Looks like a tired bunch, time to go home.

Here's what we've been up to the last couple of weeks!

To the right, Cutie pie Kyra taking a bath!

Drew, our star hockey player! We have all this gear for Drew so we (Mike and I) convinced him to let us dress him up. Isn't he adorable?!?

Drew and Kyra found a new and exciting hiding/playing place...the toy box. It has been and new found love for both of them.

Peek-a-boo Kyra! We love you!

We spent one afternoon with Kathy, Luke, and Josh. Luke took Drew for a spin up and down the road.

One morning last week, I woke up to this amazing sight, the sun coming up over the mountains. WOW!

Yesterday I was brave and let Drew and Kyra paint with Tadoodles. Kyra enjoyed tasting them, while Drew like using his hands and fingers. Needless to say - Thank Goodness for WASHABLE paint!!

Play'in in the SNOW

The last two days the weather here in Utah has been great... upper 40s, so the kids and I took advantage and played outside. Drew loved finding the biggest snow pile to climb and slide down, while Kyra just loved exploring the snow. The last picture on the right is the kids in there new xmas towels from Gma Mary and Steve. You have to have a warm bath after playing outside in the snow!

Kyra's 15 Month Check-Up

Yesterday I took Kyra to her 15 month well baby check up while Drew was at school. It's always fun going to these visits because you get to see how much they've grown and changed since the last one.

Kyra has been growing like a week these last three months...literally. She grew 3 inches in 3 months. Is that even possible? She is now 34 inches tall,99.9 percentile, (that means 99.9% of girls her age are shorter than her), and weighs 24.5 lbs (70%).

She did a great job letting the doctor check her over. She did NOT like the shots - who does - but recovered quickly. She liked the sucker she got at the end the best!

Drew's Trip to the Dentist

While we were in MN, Drew went to the dentist. It wasn't just any old dentist; it was were his Grandma Sandy works. Drew was so excited for Grandma Sandy to clean his teeth. He was such a good boy sitting in the chair. Drew let Grandma count, clean, floss, and take pictures of his teeth. Then the dentist came in to give his teeth a look over. Great job Drew!

Celebrating Christmas with my Dad's Side

Each year, my Dad's side of the family celebrates Christmas at the Leaning Tree Lodge in Deerwood, MN. It's a wonderful time for all. The lodge has 15 room, a kitchen, a huge dinning/living area, a nice basement for the kids to play in. It pretty much has it all. I guess the total count was 51 of us were able to make it this year.

Mike had a blast staying up late and playing Texas Hold'Um with the guys. Drew had fun playing with his second cousins, sledding, and playing Bingo. Kyra loved trying to keep up with the older kids, and I enjoied catching up with family I don't get to see much. I also LOVED playing the game Mad Gad (gotta get me that)!

Here are some pictures from the weekend at the lodge. We are truely blessed!

Pictures from Our Holidays

We had a wonderful holiday season spent with our families. On Christmas Eve, we were with my side at my mom and Steve's house, and on Christmas Day, we were at Mike's parents house.
