Splash Pad

Yesterday the kids and I went to the South Ogden Splash Pad with a bunch of our friends. It was a beautiful day, mid 80s. It took Drew and Kyra a few minuets to feel comfortable, but when they did, they had a blast. Enjoy the pictures!

Drew's Graduation

Last night, Drew graduated from 3 year old preschool. It was a very special night. Drew's class said a bible verse, sang Jesus Loves Me, then shook Pastor's hand and received their diploma from Mrs. Hering.

Mike and I are so proud of Drew. He not only learned a ton from Mrs. Hering, but most of all he LOVED school. He told me last night he wished school was not ending. That's a great sign of a wonderful teacher!

Drew's 1st Day at Ball

On Saturday, Drew started his first instructional baseball league practice. He was so excited and did a great job. Mike and I were also excited for him. We've been waiting for this moment...it was wonderful!

Drew's in the middle with the green hat on, and Mike is in the red shirt to the right of him.

Practicing the fundamentals, catching and throwing the ball.

Drew on the far left, waiting his turn to bat...the best part!

Drew on 2nd base doing a victory dance. That's my boy!

Drew finally batting. At home, we've been tossing the ball at him, and he hits it much better than he did off the tee, but he'll get it.

Field Trip to Krispy Cream

Last Thursday, Drew's preschool class took a field trip to Krispy Cream Doughnuts. The kids watched, listened, and learned how they make their yummy doughnuts. It was a great time! The kids were given a hat and a warm doughnut.

Catch'in Up

It's been a while since I've posted something (it's hard to add anything after I posted the Mexico pics), so here's what we've been up to.

I took this picture last week sometime, and I thought I had to post it. It's Kyra wearing swimming goggles. I guess she's ready for the pool.

The kids and I were over at Kathy, Luke, and Josh's house making Worms in Dirt (Chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos, Cool Whip, and Gummy Worms). It was very fun and tasty!

On Monday, we went to the Hogle Zoo with some friends. We had a great time; and the weather was beautiful, 80s!

Drew, Brychan, Luke, and Kyra smiled for a quick picture at the zoo.

Of course we had to go on a carousel ride. Instead of all horses, it was all different zoo animals, super cute. Kyra rode on a rhinoceros, and Drew picked a some animal that was tall.

Luke, Brychan, and Drew riding the train before heading home. What a fun (and tiring) day!
