Drew's 1st soccer game!

Drew had his very first soccer game ever this morning. Being that Mike and I have NEVER played soccer before, we weren't sure what to expect.

Drew got off to a rocky start...crying and not wanting to go out and play. After a talking from mom and dad, he said he'd try it. I had to go out onto the field with Drew for a little while. He began to feel more comfortable with each kick.

When the game started, Drew was a different kid. He played almost the whole game with a smile on his face. He chased after the ball and the kids. He said his favorite part was kicking the ball.

He did a great job and had fun! We left the soccer field wanting to go back next Saturday and do it again. I chalk that up to a success. Enjoy the pictures!
